Bhringa Hair Treatment
A slow-cooked herbal oil for hair fall and premature greying.
Bhringa Hair Treatment is made via Taila Pak Vidhi, the traditional slow-cooking method that ensures maximum extraction of each herb into the oil.
Bhringaraj means king of herbs, literally, and in Ayurveda it is the one most associated with hair. Alongside methi, amla and hibiscus, carried in sesame oil — Ayurveda's most prized carrier — it makes for a potent preparation for the common hair complaints.
It is used as a pre-wash treatment to support hair growth, treat a dry scalp, prevent dandruff, reduce hair fall, inhibit premature greying and preserve natural lustre. The long, slow process is the point, which is also why it takes months rather than weeks to show.

- Bhringraj, brahmi, amla and methi in one preparation
- Sesame oil carries the herbs into the scalp rather than sitting on it
Who it’s for
Works for
- Hair fall and thinning
- Dry scalp and dandruff
- Premature greying
- Pre-wash oiling, ideally overnight
What it feels & smells like
- Smell
- Strongly herbal and nutty. Sesame first, then the herbs. It stays in your hair until you wash it.

- A dark, medium-weight oil. Not sticky, but it is an oil.
- Sensation
- Warming on the scalp. Best massaged in and left overnight.
How to use it
What to expect
- First useA warm, herbal-smelling oil that sinks into the scalp. Hair feels conditioned after washing it out.
- Week 4Scalp dryness and flaking reduce. Hair feels less brittle at the ends.
- Week 8Hair fall reduces if the cause is dryness or damage. Nothing visible on greying yet.
- Week 12This is where herbal hair oils actually show. New growth at the hairline is the thing to watch for, and it is slow.
