After Bath Warming Oil

A spiced winter oil for aches, stiffness, cold hands; and the non-negotiable, soft skin.

₹ 745.00

Beat your winter woes with this warming and relaxing oil, made with stimulating spices, medicinal flowers and cooling camphor.

It works by easing the unpredictable aches, joint pain and stiffness that always feel more distressing during the colder months. A warming abhyanga after a bath is one easy way to balance kapha and vata through the season, and beat the winter dryness. The aromatic spices and parijat flowers make it experience closer to aromatherapy at the same time.

It is fragrance free - the warm, spicy aroma is the spices themselves. Non-greasy and fast absorbing, and it suits all skin types.

What it feels & smells like
Smell
Spicy and warm, with cardamom and clove, balanced by a cool touch of camphor. No added fragrance or essential oils, just slowly infused spices. Cozy, fuzzy, and comforting, made for crisp fall days and chilly winter evenings.
Texture
A red-tinted oil from the ratanjot. Medium weight, absorbs faster than most body oils.
Sensation
Genuinely warming a minute after application. The camphor cools at first, then the spices take over.
How to use it
Apply oil on damp skin post-bath, and massage with light hands till absorbed. This is a stimulating oil - once the oil has been absorbed, do not massage further.
What to expect
  1. First useCools briefly from the camphor, then warms noticeably a minute later. Stiffness eases.
  2. Week 1Joint and muscle aches feel less nagging through cold days.
  3. Week 3Skin is softer and better nourished. The warming effect is what most people keep using it for.
  4. Week 6A 100g bottle used regularly through winter runs out around here. Looking back, you’ll realise winter felt softer, warmer, and a little less cold.

Your questions, answered

Can I use it in summer?

You can, but only for localised joint pain and aches, and not as a full body after bath oil. It is formulated to warm the body, which can be uncomfortable in summers.

Why should I stop massaging once it absorbs?

It is a stimulating oil. Continuing to massage after absorption can leave the skin feeling overheated rather than comfortable.

Do I need to patch test?

Yes, and it takes a day. Apply a small amount to your inner forearm and leave it for 24 hours before using it. If a product has any unwanted response, it'll show up in this time. Do this with any new product, not just ours.
