Sound Sleep - Aromatherapy Roll On
A pocket-sized lavender blend for sleep.
Feel yourself drifting into restful sleep as the tension in tired muscles leaves the body, and the noise of the external world is replaced by the quiet of your own mind.
Sound Sleep is a synergistic blend of essential oils of lavender, clary sage, marjoram and Roman chamomile, carried in cold-pressed sweet almond oil. Lavender shifts the mind's focus away from the anxious thoughts that keep you awake, and each breath brings you a little further into rest.
Aromatherapy works through inhalation and absorption. Essential oils contain volatile compounds; molecules that reach the brain affect the limbic system, which governs mood. They are also small enough to pass through the skin, and the skin at pulse points is thinner, with blood vessels closer to the surface.
